Reference Contrast for Your Theatre

Native Contrast

JVC's D-ILA panels are known for very high native contrast, so starfields, night scenes and shadowy interiors keep their depth and detail. We protect that contrast with dark room finishes and the right screen.

Frame Adapt HDR

JVC's Frame Adapt HDR analyzes HDR content scene by scene and tone-maps it to your projector, screen and room. Bright scenes stay punchy without washing out, and we fine-tune it during calibration.

The NZ800/RS3200 and NZ900/RS4200 add 8K/e-shiftX processing for very fine detail on large screens, on top of native 4K D-ILA panels. The RS4200 uses an 18-element, 16-group 100 mm all-glass lens.

Every NZ-series model uses native 4K D-ILA devices and a BLU-Escent laser light source, for a sharp, stable picture that stays bright for years.

The NZ Series

The RS series is JVC's premium Reference Series line for custom installers, sold through authorized dealers like Aura and recommended for dedicated theatres. Picture specs match each NZ model (RS1200 = NZ500, RS2200 = NZ700, RS3200 = NZ800, RS4200 = NZ900). In Canada, the RS4200, RS3200 and RS2200 have a 5-year parts and labour warranty, compared with 3 years for the matching NZ models. The laser is covered for 3 years or 10,000 hours.

JVC's NZ series and its Reference Series (RS) counterparts pair D-ILA contrast with a long-life laser light source. The NZ500/RS1200 and NZ700/RS2200 are native 4K models and a superb entry to JVC laser projection, while the NZ800/RS3200 and NZ900/RS4200 add 8K/e-shiftX processing and 48 Gbps HDMI for 4K/120 and 8K inputs.

The right model depends on your screen size, seating distance and room. Aura Design helps you compare the range, designs the room around the projector and calibrates it on-site, so contrast and colour are protected from every seat. The RS series is JVC's premium Reference Series line for custom installers, sold through authorized dealers like Aura and recommended for dedicated theatres. Each RS model shares the picture specifications of its NZ counterpart. In Canada, the RS4200, RS3200 and RS2200 carry a 5-year parts and labour warranty, compared with 3 years on the NZ900, NZ800 and NZ700 (laser component 3 years or 10,000 hours). Designed, Installed and Calibrated

JVC projector integration with Control4, RTI and Josh control systems

Installation & Lens Memory

Motorized lens controls and installation memory modes make it easy to switch between screen formats, including setups with an anamorphic lens. We set and save each mode during installation.

Gaming & 3D

Low-latency modes keep consoles responsive on the big screen, and the NZ800 and NZ900 accept 4K/120 input. 3D playback is supported on the NZ800 and NZ900.

Home Control

JVC projectors can be integrated with control systems such as Control4, so one touch dims the lights, lowers the shades and starts the movie.
