Panamorph Anamorphic Lenses in Ottawa
Why Anamorphic
It is an anamorphic lens that lets your projector use its full panel for 2.4:1 cinema-format content, for a brighter, more detailed image on a scope screen.

Brighter Cinema Format
Instead of zooming, an anamorphic lens uses the projector's full panel for 2.4:1 movies. Panamorph rates its DCR lenses at about 23% more brightness and its CDR lenses at about 30% more for cinema-format content.

More Detail
Using all of the projector's vertical pixels for wide movies and streaming content gives the image more detail than a zoomed-up letterbox picture.

16:9 Content Your Way
In a 2.4:1 theatre you can watch 16:9 TV and sports pillarboxed, stretched to fill the screen, or cropped slightly to fill the width, with no extra processing required.

Distortion-Free Alpha Optics
Panamorph's Alpha and Alpha Pro lenses use a proprietary distortion-free optical design, which makes them easier to install and align than earlier anamorphic lens designs.
Lenses for JVC
Panamorph designs the Alpha DCR and DCR-G2 with the XM3 plate for JVC D-ILA projectors, and the larger Alpha Pro for high-end projectors. We confirm fit for your model and throw.

Panamorph's Alpha DCR with the XM3 plate is designed for distortion-free performance on JVC D-ILA projectors, and Panamorph lists JVC NZ500, NZ700, NZ800 and NZ900 models in its JVC lens calculator. The DCR-G2 with XM3 is a lower-cost option for JVC D-ILA projectors that keeps a slight barrel distortion.
The Alpha Pro is Panamorph's flagship large, independently mounted lens for high-end projectors, with the same on-screen performance as the Alpha in a larger size. Aura Design checks your throw distance, screen and JVC model, then recommends and installs the right lens.
